A: Yes! This is the magic of the KF Factory version. The mechanical memory countdown functions very similarly to the Gen. You can program the countdown duration (e.g., 5 minutes or 10 minutes) using the Ring Command bezel and the pushers.
Q: Is this better than the IPK or JF version?
A: Yes. IPK and JF use modified 7750 movements which are thicker and often have non-functional or simplified countdowns. KF Factory uses a custom movement designed specifically to replicate the 4161 functions. It is much more expensive to make, but it is the best.
Q: How do I set the countdown?
A: Just like the Gen: Rotate the bezel 90 degrees to the left (active mode), use the pusher to set the countdown minute hand, and rotate the bezel back to lock it.
